As a Statutory Reporting & Tax Specialist, you support statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit activities for Molex entities across Europe. You contribute to high-quality financial compliance processes while developing expertise across multiple jurisdictions.
Our Team
You will be a part of new European Center of Excellence, hosted by Phillips-Medisize Poland, supporting statutory reporting, tax compliance, controllership, audit coordination and governance activities for entities across Europe.
What You Will Do
- Prepare annual statutory financial statements and supporting disclosures in accordance with local statutory requirements and established reporting deadlines.
- Maintain end-to-end ownership of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet for assigned legal entities, ensuring accurate, complete and timely statutory reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statutory reporting deliverables, including supporting schedules, analyses and reconciliations.
- Support external statutory audits by preparing audit deliverables, responding to auditor requests and assisting with the timely resolution of audit findings.
- Prepare and submit government, regulatory and statistical reports in accordance with local filing requirements.
- Prepare VAT, Intrastat and other indirect tax submissions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Provide financial information, reconciliations and supporting documentation required for the preparation of corporate income tax returns and other direct tax filings.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of internal controls, governance processes and compliance procedures across assigned entities.
- Assist with accounting projects, business integrations, process transitions and statutory reporting initiatives as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization and automation to enhance efficiency, quality and operational effectiveness.
- Prepare supporting documentation, working papers and audit trails, ensuring compliance with internal control standards and documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal and external advisors to address statutory reporting, compliance and governance-related matters.
- Monitor reporting calendars and ensure all assigned statutory and compliance deadlines are achieved accurately and on time.
- Contribute to the development of the European Statutory & Tax Center of Excellence by sharing knowledge, supporting best practices and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- Experience in accounting or reporting
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS or specific local GAAP
- Good system knowledge (SAP is preferred)
- Basic VAT and tax knowledge
- Fluent in Polish and English, both oral and in writing.
