As the Americas Region Pricing Manager, you will lead a team of pricing and commercial excellence professionals responsible for reviewing and approving pricing decisions, supporting deal desk activities, and ensuring commercial strategies are executed effectively across the Americas. Partnering closely with Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, and Operations, you will help balance customer needs with strong economic decision-making, ensuring the business wins profitable opportunities while maintaining pricing discipline. In addition to developing your team, you will drive operational excellence, oversee pricing governance, and help shape the vision and execution of the region’s pricing strategy.
Our Team
You will join a global pricing organization spanning six locations worldwide, with regional leaders responsible for driving pricing execution and capability development. The Americas team supports all Molex divisions, serving as a key partner in commercial decision-making and business growth. Our team brings diverse backgrounds from sales, customer service, product management, and commercial operations, united by a focus on collaboration, profitability, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
Lead Regional Pricing Operations
- Manage and develop a team of Deal Desk Specialists and regional Business Partners.
- Establish performance expectations, operating standards, and development plans for team members.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of pricing requests, quotations, contract updates, and system maintenance activities.
- Monitor team performance against service level agreements and operational metrics.
- Balance resources and workloads to support changing business priorities.
Execute Commercial Decisions
- Coordinate implementation of approved customer pricing actions and commercial agreements.
- Support execution of customer negotiations by providing data, documentation, analysis, and administrative support.
- Ensure pricing approvals and workflow requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Partner with commercial teams to facilitate smooth implementation of customer and divisional pricing actions.
Drive Operational Excellence
- Improve speed, quality, consistency, and scalability of pricing operations.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce cycle times.
- Develop standard work and operating procedures across regional pricing teams.
- Support adoption of automation, tools, and system enhancements that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Lead Commercial Program Execution
- Manage regional execution of price increases, contract updates, backlog adjustments, and customer pricing programs.
- Coordinate activities across Pricing, Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, and Operations.
- Identify execution risks and drive resolution of implementation issues.
- Ensure successful completion of critical commercial initiatives within established timelines.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies, approval authorities, and business controls.
- Maintain data quality and integrity within pricing systems and workflows.
- Support internal audit and documentation requirements.
- Escalate operational risks and process issues as appropriate.
Performance Management and Reporting
- Track operational metrics related to productivity, responsiveness, accuracy, and service delivery.
- Monitor execution quality and identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain reporting and dashboards that provide visibility to team performance and workload management.
- Drive accountability for operational results.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in pricing operations, commercial operations, sales operations, customer service, order management, finance, or related disciplines.
- Experience managing operational processes and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated leadership through direct supervision, mentoring, cross-functional influence, or informal team leadership
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global environment.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with pricing and commercial systems such as Vendavo, PROS, SAP, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Experience leading teams and developing employees.
- Experience leading operational transformation or process improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting large-scale commercial programs and customer implementations.
- Experience working within a global manufacturing or technology organization.
For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000 - $150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
