What You Will Do
• Process Strategy & Ownership
1. Define and standardize plating process strategies across products and lines
2. Own and control critical process parameters and process windows
3. Ensure process manufacturability and robustness during NPI.
• Yield / Quality / Failure Analysis
1. Lead root cause analysis for major plating defects and issues
2. Drive yield improvement and process capability enhancement
3. Establish and promote best practice.
• Precious Metal Cost Optimization
1. Optimize Au/Pd cost and utilization efficiency
2. Lead cost-saving initiatives such as selective plating and thickness optimization
3. Improve process loss vs permanent loss.
• Support NPI & Technology Development
1. Support plating process development for NPI
2. Support feasibility study and risk assessment
3. Assist new technology and material qualification.
• Cross-functional Leadership
1. Collaborate with Design, Quality, Production teams
2. Influence DFM and cost-related decisions.
• Capability Building & Technical Leadership

2. Build capability roadmap and competency matrix
3. Lead knowledge sharing and development.
• Scope:
1. Plating processes: Au, Pd/Ni, Ni, Sn
2. Mass Production + Continuous Improvement + Support NP
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
1. Bachelor’s in chemistry, Materials or related.
2. Required: 8–10+ years plating process experience
3. Industry experience in electronic manufacturing, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering is preferred. Familiarity with the electronic supply chain or manufacturing processes is a plus.
4. Strong electroplating knowledge and data-driven problem solving
5. Strong cross-functional communication and leadership capability
LEADERSHIP EXPECTATION:
1. Act as site plating technical authority
2. Own technology roadmap and key decisions
3. Drive standardization and governance.
