DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prototypes assembly and rework
2. Perform standardized optical performance tests for optical connectivity products, covering insertion loss, return loss, endface geometry inspection and high-speed optical transmission verification, strictly follow ESD protection and Class 1M/Class 2M safe optical operation protocols.
3. Conduct structural and environmental validation tests including temperature cycling, mechanical mating endurance, vibration and shock for optical connector samples, record full test data in real time and flag abnormal performance deviations immediately.
4. Independently complete pre-test product assembly for optical prototypes, including precision ferrule alignment, fiber pigtail termination and temporary test fixture modification, to support urgent R&D verification demands.
5. Build and debug dedicated test environments for different optical product projects, including optical path calibration, test bench wiring, parameter configuration of environmental chambers and automation test script basic debugging.
6. Manage daily calibration, maintenance and uptime of all lab test instruments and environmental chambers, keep complete calibration records to guarantee test accuracy and compliance.
7. Support injection mold trial verification for precision connector housings, assist in dimensional inspection of molded plastic parts and document all test data for mold flow process optimization.
8. Create, update and archive full technical documents for test benches, SOPs and sample traceability records, assist engineers to prepare test reports for new product validation and customer audit.
9. Maintain 5S lab operation, manage test consumables inventory and assist NPI teams to complete urgent prototype testing during new product trial production phases.
