Our philosophy encourages innovation, accountability, and long-term value creation for both employees and the company.As a Site IT Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the digital and infrastructure operations of MOLEX OSBU manufacturing sites. You will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation of IT infrastructure and production-related systems, providing first-level technical support, and enabling efficient production through reliable and high-availability IT services. This role requires strong technical expertise, a production-first mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Global IT in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
• Manage and maintain site-level IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and end-user devices, ensuring high availability for production operations.
• Provide L1 technical support for both office and shopfloor environments, ensuring timely resolution of incidents in alignment with SLA requirements and minimizing production impact.
• Support manufacturing systems and shopfloor IT devices (e.g., MES terminals, label printers, scanners, PDAs), including troubleshooting and daily operation support.
• Ensure reliable network performance to support production activities and respond quickly to network-related incidents.
• Implement and operate IT solutions following OSBU IT standards, while coordinating with OSBU IT on network architecture, security policies, and system improvements.
• Support IT deployment for capacity expansion projects, including production line setup, relocation, and new site build-out, ensuring readiness aligned with project timelines.
• Analyze recurring issues, propose improvement actions, and drive continuous improvement to enhance system stability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset records, and comply with OSBU IT governance and cybersecurity requirements.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Site IT or manufacturing IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of network technologies (Cisco LAN/WLAN), IT infrastructure, and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting shopfloor IT devices and systems.
• Familiar with Windows systems, network operations, and basic IT service management processes.
• Good English and Chinese communication skills (spoken and written), with the ability to work in a global team.
• Service-oriented, responsible, and able to handle high-pressure production scenarios.
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with MES or shopfloor system integration.
• Experience in network high-availability design or wireless optimization.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and continuous improvement practices.
