DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Participate in new product development, evaluate products based on their complexity and whether they are new or old, conduct prototype testing and verification in the early stages, and work with R&D to develop drawings. 2. Before production begins, output a self-evaluated optimal production plan, such as DFEMA, and assess its suitability for mass production, considering its impact on existing equipment. 3. Collect data on man-hours, problem areas, scrap rates, and future projections during the production process, such as the feasibility of automating processes/techniques/materials. 4. Develop new processes and lead production engineers to solve intractable problems encountered on the production line. 5. Traveling overseas to provide technical support. Requirement: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Optical. 2. PREFERRED: Electronics, mechanical or optical communication background. 3. 3+ years of engineering/process/quality experience in manufacturing. 4. Experience process and R&D in optical connector or optical cable. 5. Face-to-face communication in English. 6. Excellent comprehension and expression skills. 7. Excellent logical thinking. 8. Know how to use quality and engineering tools, such as FEMA, GRR, 8D, 5WHY, etc. 9. PREFERRED: Mastering and using IEC and Telcordia international standards for optical products.
