Your Job
As a Sales Engineer supporting automotive customers, you will drive early-stage design engagement and develop long-term partnerships to secure design wins. You will collaborate across engineering, product, and commercial teams to deliver innovative interconnect solutions that align with customer roadmaps and industry trends.
Our Team
You will work within the Sales & Marketing organization, partnering closely with engineering, product management, and global account teams to deliver technical excellence and customer value across the automotive segment.
What You Will Do
- Drive design-in and design-win activities with key automotive accounts to generate sustainable revenue growth
- Develop strong relationships with customer stakeholders across engineering, procurement, logistics, and project management
- Identify customer needs and translate them into tailored Molex solutions by leveraging internal technical and product resources
- Build and execute account strategies based on customer roadmaps, technology trends, and market dynamics
- Manage new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring timely delivery of samples, validation support, and technical engagement
- Provide technical consultation and support on connector solutions, addressing customer requirements and resolving issues effectively
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities, collaborating with internal teams to drive new product development initiatives
- Coordinate customer visits and cross-functional engagement with global and regional teams (e.g., GPMs, BDMs, GAMs)
- Establish and maintain a strong network within customer organizations, enabling long-term partnership and growth opportunities
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in automotive engineering, technical sales, or a related environment
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
What Will Put You Ahead
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with OEM or Tier 1 automotive customers
- Understanding of automotive electrical architecture and connection systems
- Knowledge of connectors, cable assemblies, and interconnect solutions
- Self-motivated, proactive mindset with strong organizational skills
