As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for providing operational support for the enterprise platform that enables application development, deployment, and management across environments. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure the platform is stable, scalable, and secure, while supporting reliable development workflows and deployment processes. Your responsibilities include monitoring platform performance, resolving issues related to infrastructure and integrations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of operational standards, automation practices, and platform security.

What You Will Do
- Design, build, and maintain a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery across environments throughout the development lifecycle.
- Utilize a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end-to-end quality across functions.
- Contribute to the adoption of DevOps practices by building CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments.
- Deploy and manage development, testing, and automation tools along with underlying platform infrastructure.
- Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve processes for building, packaging, and deployment.
- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
- Set up and manage cloud-based tools, infrastructure, services, and environments required for development, testing, and production.
- Utilize diagnostic methods to troubleshoot platform issues, optimize system performance, and implement necessary improvements.
- Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes as part of a broader Cloud Native architecture, enabling scalable and reliable platform services.
- Strong background in DevOps practices, including designing and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery across multiple environments.
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure consistently and securely.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) for automation, integrations, and platform tooling.
- Experience in designing and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines, streamlining software delivery to ensure efficient and reliable deployments across multiple environments.
- Familiarity with security standards and best practices to ensure platform and application security throughout the deployment lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and apply AI thoughtfully to platform engineering workflows, using sound judgment to improve engineering efficiency, automation, and operational outcomes.
- Strong experience with Git or other version control systems and modern branching/release workflows.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong documentation skills, couple with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
What Will Put You Ahead
· Application development experience — prior experience building or contributing to production applications, and the ability to bring an application-developer perspective to platform tooling, APIs, and integrations.
· Experience working with monitoring and observability tooling, including the GLTM stack (Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Mimir), to support platform reliability and developer self-service.
· Experience with multiple major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
· Experience working in high-performing Agile teams that leverage tools such as GitLab and Jira to manage priorities and governance.
