Molex is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our procurement team. In this role, you will drive value through purchasing decisions, support supplier partnerships, and ensure continuity of operations by securing timely delivery of goods and services aligned with business needs.
Our Team
You will be part of the Molex procurement team, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to enable efficient operations and create long-term value through strategic sourcing.
What You Will Do
- Source and purchase materials and supplies to meet production requirements
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
- Partner with internal teams to understand and fulfill procurement needs
- Support supplier relationships and resolve supply chain issues
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning
- Analyze root causes of accounts payable exceptions and implement corrective actions
- Execute material return processes in alignment with company procedures
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Conversational English
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
