Join our plant as Tooling/ Stamping Engineer.
The aim of the position is to coordinate all stages of development and maintenance in the production of injection molds and stamping tools in order to achieve technical and quality KPIs set by external and internal customers.
What You Will Do
- Support the NPI / capacity expansion / refurbishment stamping/tooling process by inputting manufacturing POV
- Supporting design review for tools and components related to stamping/tooling equipment and process
- Performing feasibility study
- Knowledge of the design of stamping tools and medical reel to reel production
- Knowledge of the design of injection molds, hot runners, the principles of designing moldings and molds, practical knowledge of mold manufacturing and maintenance
- Being responsible and key person during DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ phases for new or transfer applications. New stamping die/tools, transfer project commissioning and sample trial runs.
- Basics of injection process
- Improve tools construction and process
- Evaluation for new process flow for new stamping die and process.
- Study and draft conceptual flow for team review
- Work closely with Automation and Injection process engineers for design and process optimization
- Applying knowledge of stamping Die design, tooling fabrication, materials for tooling and standard equipment
- Evaluate Mass Production and Manufacturability meeting OEE/POEE performance (nice to have)
- Analyze the problem of stamping/tooling process and improve
- Keep the drawings to the latest version
- FAI debugging, refurbish new die design review and die layout optimization
- Improvement in die punching speed, reducing downtime
- Good communication skills. Building strong business relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Willingness to cooperate with other departments: Maintenance; Production; Quality; Validation; Logistics
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Diploma/Degree in engineering: Molding/Tooling/Stamping
- Good knowledge and understanding of metrology and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Good sense of urgency, and ability to complete task on time
- Advanced analytical skill and quick response to new issues
- Self-monitoring workload and multi-tasking
- English : Business level Knowledge and reading engineering 2D / 3D drawing
- Experience in stamping die and injection molding design
- Major education in engineering field related to manufacturing and technical drawing knowledge- will be an asset
- Familiar with 3D Automation Design-NX/Catia Software & equivalent (2D & 3D Knowledge)- will be an asset
- Understand of tooling design and specification- will be an asset
- Experience on Stamping die (able to hand on) Knowledge of Metal Material feature- will be an asset
