Our Team
You will be reporting to Operational Excellence Manager.
What You Will Do
- Develop, maintain, and deliver operational excellence support systems, including training materials, benchmarking studies, and communication strategies.
- Facilitate and drive continuous improvement projects to improve SQDC metrics on the manufacturing shop floor.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and act as a project leader/facilitator to execute Lean, Automation, and Digitalization initiatives.
- Maximize operational performance by utilizing Lean tools (e.g., VSM, Kaizen, 5S).
- Deliver and coordinate training/skill development programs to support continuous improvement activities.
- Provide guidance to individuals during the execution of continuous improvement action plans.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize production data to establish reports for decision-makers, including cost-benefit analysis and data-driven recommendations.
- Network with other OpEx members to share and adopt “Best Practices” to improve the site’s system and operational strategy.
- Support and execute the Plant Digital Transformation Roadmap to drive smart factory initiatives.
- Extended travel to other facilities may be required to support business needs.
- Comply with safety/environment management systems and proactively identify safety concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a proven track record in Continuous Improvement (CI) or Lean execution.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Ability to utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies (such as DMAIC, VSM, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
- Hands-on experience or working knowledge of ERP systems would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to foster change, acceptance, and teamwork on the shop floor.
- Good facilitation skills for conducting workshops, developing training materials, and engaging with cross-functional teams.
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken, with effective presentation skills.
- Background in manufacturing processes improvement, automation, and digitalization is highly desirable.
- Ability to use 3D CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent) for engineering design and layout optimization is a strong advantage.
