PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This position focuses on analysing the cost structure of products, leveraging professional financial data analysis to identify opportunities for optimizing cost efficiency and enhancing production profitability. It continuously drives the optimization and upgrading of manufacturing processes. The role provides financial consulting support to manufacturing units, builds a communication bridge between finance and production operations, and delivers professional financial insights based on data to assist management in making decisions. Expected to possess the courage and determination to challenge existing processes and excel in using digital analytical tools for in-depth analysis.
What You Will Do
- Conduct an in-depth breakdown of the product cost structure, analysing the composition and drivers of direct and indirect costs. Identify feasible directions for cost optimization based on actual production conditions.
- Collaborate closely with the operations and engineering teams, participate in preliminary research for cost-reduction and process optimization projects, accurately calculate expected project benefits, and establish quantifiable performance evaluation metrics.
- Analyze the causes of cost variances and provide improvement recommendations to the team to ensure project benefits are realized.
- Maintain a challenging mindset by questioning existing cost accounting processes, production operations, and project evaluation standards, driving process iteration and optimization.
- Utilize digital analysis tools and techniques to perform financial modelling and data visualization, delivering analysis reports with strategic decision-making value to support management decisions.
- Assist in manufacturing budget preparation, rolling forecasts, and cost control, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and the practicality of analysis results.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bach bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or related major.
- At least 2 years related working experiences.
- Good English skill in oral and written.
- Be familiar with MS office, experience with financial analysis tools and dashboard development is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent cross-departmental communication and collaboration skills.
