DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage the Project Quality Plan for new products and modifications, ensuring alignment with the Voice of the Customer and timely completion of all quality deliverables.
- Review, update, and create essential quality documentation, including PFMEA, control plans, and inspection plans as well as training on inspectors.
- Lead problem-solving efforts using the 8D methodology to analyze and resolve new product customer complaints and internal quality issues during product launch.
- Partner with Manufacturing Quality Engineering, production team, new product team to develop Safe Launch and customer launch planning, oversee safe launch implementation, evaluation, and improvement.
- Oversee supplier quality planning / development / qualification / safe launch and approve supplier PPAP of new developed parts.
- Customer PPAP review, preparation and timely submission to customers.
- Partner with MIE and PDE in product and process qualification including Measurement System Analysis (MSA), initial capability studies, statistical analyses, QC gauges and measurement fixtures development and qualification.
- Lead customer process sign-off audit during new product phase, and as owner of new product development quality, participate in system audit and potential supplier audit
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Engineering
- Experience with core quality tools such as APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Inspection Plans, PPAP, MSA, Capability study, and statistical data analysis using tools like Minitab.
- Experienced in problem-solving methodologies including 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective / Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Clear logical thinking, good communication skills, agility and resilience.
- Contribution motivated, highly driven individual and team player.
- Basic English skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
