Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Production Associates at their Hummingbird facility in West Chester, OH!
Salary:
- $22 per hour
- 2nd and 3rd shift differential adds $2.00 per hour
Shift:
Shift assignment is based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to work any shift, overtime, and Saturdays as needed.
Shift Hours:
- 1st shift: 7AM - 3PM
- 2nd shift: 3PM - 11PM
- 3rd shift: 11PM - 7 AM (the work week starts 11pm Sunday night)
What You Will Do
- Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
- Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems
- Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
- Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
- Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
- Operate and/or work around mobile equipment
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience working in a customer-facing, team-based, or fast-paced environment
- Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
- A willingness to learn new skills and work in a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
