Koch Capabilities is seeking a Senior Validation Engineer to join our global Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will help deliver compliant, high-quality solutions for enterprise systems supporting consumer packaged goods and over-the-counter (OTC) product operations.
You will apply Computer System Validation (CSV) principles using a practical, risk-based approach while partnering with business, quality, and technology teams to ensure systems are fit for intended use and aligned with business and regulatory expectations. You will also play a key role in advancing test automation capabilities through Playwright to improve quality, efficiency, and reliability across enterprise platforms.

What You Will Do
- Execute Computer System Validation (CSV) activities for SAP and related enterprise applications using a risk-based validation approach.
- Partner with business stakeholders, quality teams, and technical teams to understand requirements, assess system impacts, and define validation strategies.
- Develop and maintain validation documentation, including Validation Plans, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, Traceability Matrices, and Validation Summary Reports.
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate system functionality and business processes.
- Build, enhance, and maintain Playwright-based automation frameworks for UI and end-to-end testing.
- Support SAP testing activities across functional areas, including purchasing, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
- Participate in test planning, defect management, root cause analysis, and validation of corrective actions.
- Ensure validation and testing deliverables support audit readiness and compliance expectations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that increase testing efficiency, coverage, and quality.
- Communicate project status, validation outcomes, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 4+ years of experience in Computer System Validation (CSV), software testing, or quality assurance.
- Experience supporting regulated business systems within consumer products, OTC products, manufacturing, quality, or enterprise application environments.
- Understanding of risk-based validation methodologies and validation lifecycle deliverables.
- Experience creating and maintaining validation documentation, including validation plans, protocols, traceability matrices, and summary reports.
- Hands-on experience testing SAP applications and enterprise business processes.
- Experience developing test automation solutions using Playwright.
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.
- Experience performing API and UI testing.
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as qTest, Jira, ALM, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience supporting CSV programs within SAP, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, consumer packaged goods, or OTC product environments.
- Familiarity with FDA expectations applicable to regulated consumer products and quality systems.
- Experience balancing compliance requirements with practical, efficient validation execution.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori applications.
- Experience implementing test automation within CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.
- Exposure to cloud-based platforms and modern testing technologies.
- Experience supporting audits, inspections, and validation documentation reviews.
- Knowledge of data validation, integration testing, and enterprise application testing strategies.
