As a Senior Lead – Mechanical Engineering, you will provide leadership and direction to a team of mechanical engineers, lead engineers, and designers supporting the design and execution of engineered-to-order products within John Zink's global engineering organization. You will be responsible for building team capability, driving engineering excellence, improving execution discipline, and partnering with global stakeholders to deliver innovative, safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that create long-term value for customers and the business.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
14+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, equipment design, product engineering, or engineered-to-order project execution.
5+ years of experience leading engineers, designers, technical teams, or complex engineering workstreams.
Experience developing talent, improving team performance, and influencing outcomes across cross-functional organizations.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, engineering documentation, fabrication processes, and design-for-manufacturing practices.
Experience collaborating with global stakeholders in a matrixed engineering environment.
Strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience in combustion systems, emissions-control technologies, oil & gas, petrochemical, process equipment, pressure equipment, or heavy industrial industries.
Familiarity with burners, flares, thermal oxidizers, vapor control systems, or similar engineered equipment.
Experience leading engineering transformation, standardization, automation, digital engineering, or process improvement initiatives.
Advanced degree (Master's, MBA, or equivalent) or formal leadership development training.
Experience working across global engineering centers and manufacturing locations.
Demonstrated success in developing future technical and people leaders.
