Guardian Glass is seeking a GL Accountant - Intercompany to join our finance team in Katowice, Poland (the work can be also done from our location in Czestochowa, with occasional visits in Katowice office). In this role, you will take ownership of key accounting activities and play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial information. You will work closely with global and cross‑functional stakeholders in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and contribute directly to continuous improvement initiatives across our financial processes.
This role follows a hybrid working arrangement of four days per week in the office and one day working from home. Working models may vary across teams based on business needs.

What You Will Do
Core Accounting & Reporting
- Perform regular General Ledger (GL) processes to ensure accurate, compliant and timely calculation posting to the ledger regarding Intercompany Transfer pricing transactions. Analyse Intercompany balances, resolve mismatches.
- Drive the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness in month-end and year-end close processes to produce Guardian’s financials.
- Analyze operational processes to identify financial implications and support data-driven decision making.
Controls & Compliance
- Execute and document strong financial controls, such as balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review audit documentation, serving as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors.
Business Partnership & Collaboration
- Act as a strategic accounting partner to cross‑functional teams, providing insights and guidance.
- Provide ad-hoc information, support and analysis to other departments as needed.
- Analyze operational processes to identify financial implications that support business decision‑making.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and execute opportunities to streamline and enhance accounting processes that impact financial reporting and broader business initiatives.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Proven accounting experience - especially in the Intercompany area.
- Good understanding of the Financial statement.
- Demonstrated understanding in journal entry preparation, General Ledger processes, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 with MS Excel skills (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation).
- Proficient in English.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Hands-on experience with ERP & accounting sub-systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to a variety of audiences
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience in multi country setups and / or global process accounting setups
