What You Will Do
1. Process Strategy & Development
a) Define and lead end-to-end stamping process strategy for new products, including process selection, flow design, and risk assessment
b) Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturing) reviews with Product Design and Project teams to ensure manufacturing feasibility, cost competitiveness, and quality robustness
c) Establish process standards, control plans, and critical parameter windows for stable mass production
2. NPI & Ramp-up Ownership
a) Take ownership of NPI process development, including trial planning, validation, and ramp-up execution
b) Drive rapid issue resolution during NPI builds, ensuring smooth transition to volume production
c) Lead process capability validation (yield, CPK, C/T) and ensure readiness for mass production
3. Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
a) Lead systematic process improvement initiatives to improve yield, POEE, and Press/die utilization
b) Identify and eliminate chronic losses and variation drivers within stamping processes
c) Drive implementation with tools (SS/Lean…) for sustained improvement
4. Technical Leadership & Problem Solving
a) Leading cross-functional root cause analysis (RCA) and solution deployment for complex process issues
b) Enhancing overall team technical capability and problem-solving mindset
c) Collaborate with design team on die design optimization, failure reduction & performance improvement
d) Lead alignment and decision-making on process trade-offs, balancing quality, cost, and delivery
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
1. Minimum 5–8 years of stamping process or related manufacturing engineering experience
2. Strong experience in high-speed stamping / terminal stamping processes
3. Proven track record in NPI support, process development, and yield improvement
4. Deep understanding of process control, defect mechanisms, and variation reduction
5. Strong experience in problem-solving methodologies
6. Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, or related field
7. Strong expertise in stamping process optimization, troubleshooting, and risk assessment
8. Proficiency in CAD tools (UG/NX preferred)
9. Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making capability
10. Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
11. Good English communication skills, both reading and writing.
What Will Put You Ahead
1. Experience in connector / terminal manufacturing
2. Familiarity with stamping improvement and tooling structure
3. Experience working with global teams or multi-site projects
4. Six sigma GB is preferred
