DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the factory warehouse and external warehouses; develop work plans; standardize and continuously improve workflows and warehouse management policies and procedures.
2. Oversee and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, issuing, inventory counting, packaging, shipping, and accounting.
3. Implement scientific management of warehouse storage locations, propose and drive improvements to warehouse layout optimization.
4. Conduct feasibility assessments for warehouse automation projects, and drive their implementation.
5. Support the Materials Department in managing internal stockouts caused by material design changes to prevent parts from becoming obsolete.
6. Develop departmental work plans and oversee their execution, while objectively evaluating the monthly performance of subordinates.
7. Plan and implement 5S management activities in the warehouse to continuously improve on-site 5S standards.
8. Monitor material inventory levels and status to prevent overstocking, shortages, and damage, ensuring the safety of inventory items
9. Support internal and external warehouse audits to ensure successful completion
10. Propose methods and techniques for continuous warehouse improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
11. Other tasks assigned by supervisors or superiors
SCOPE: Daily warehouse operations management; communicate daily work with superiors and subordinates to fulfill corresponding responsibilities
EDUCATION:
REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree
PREFERRED:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED: At least five years of warehouse management experience and at least five years of experience in warehouse continuous improvement
PREFERRED: Experience in the automotive parts industry and electronics manufacturing sector is preferred.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED: 1. Familiarity with warehouse business processes and relevant quality management systems; logistics expertise; proficiency in WMS systems
2. Proficiency in warehouse layout design; extensive experience in lean improvement practices
3. Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills; excellent communication and coordination abilities
4. Proficiency in office software
5. Basic English reading and writing skills; able to communicate simply
6. Strong sense of urgency, responsibility, and team spirit
7. Familiarity with SAP/ERP operations in a warehouse setting
PREFERRED: Understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
