*Molex is seeking a motivated and self-driven Die Process Engineer to grow with our manufacturing team in DG.
*This person will guide stamped part manufacturing from conception to qualification to support New Product Development activities for the Datacom Specialty Solutions product portfolio.
*This person will support projects using stamped parts that require design for manufacturing (DFM), simulation, tooling design review, and processing. This will require a fundamental understanding of stamped part design, tooling, and processing, as well as 2D and 3D CAD.
*This position will include travel to Molex plants and vendors, for die and equipment installation and qualification. This travel will be international and can be up to 20% per year.

What You Will Do (Job Description)
*Develop and support stamping and die solutions for NPI (New Product Introduction) for DSS cable products.
*Estimates project costs and lead times for new dies and revisions to existing dies
*Work with Product Engineers and support Development Process Engineers to review and adapt product designs for manufacturability. Attend FMEA meetings and provide input as to process failures. Facilitates die design review meetings with design engineers, and plant personnel.
*Manage the design, build, and debug processes of stamping dies/stamped component equipment on time and within budget.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
•Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
•5 years of experience in large manufacturing plant or custom stamping company
•Experience with 2D and 3D drafting software
•Good communication skills in English- verbal, reading, & written
What Will Put You Ahead
•1~2 year experience in the stamping industry
•Managing design projects from front to end
•Experience using MS Project, SAP, and Procurement systems
•Collaboration with external vendors
