Project Management Engineer (PJM – DSS)
Location: Molex Vietnam Hung Yen (Daily shuttle service from Hanoi/ HaiDuong/ Bacninh)

Molex Vietnam has been operating its first factory at Thang Long Industrial Park I since 2007. Currently, Molex is investing in a NEW FACTORY COMPLEX located at Thang Long Industrial Park II, Hung Yen province, with a total investment of approximately 145 million USD, covering an area of 100,000 m², 3 plants and divided into 3 phases . This factory will produce high-tech products, such as high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.
We are seeking Project Engineers (PJM) to lead Transfer Projects and support New Product Introduction (NPI). You will act as the key coordination point across internal teams and cross‑country partners to ensure project alignment, readiness, and on‑time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead communication between internal teams and global counterparts during project transfers. Ensure full alignment on timelines, requirements, and deliverables.
· Develop action plans and drive cross‑functional collaboration; provide regular updates following HORENSO principles.
· Coordinate machine/tooling transfer schedules and training plans; ensure all new equipment complies with EHS requirements.
· Read technical drawings, understand BOMs/process flow, and support costing analysis when needed.
· Ensure 4M readiness (Man, Machine, Material, Method) during NPI by collecting and verifying inputs from owners.
· Maintain compliance with 5S, Kaizen, EHS, and company asset protection.
· Take ownership of tasks, proactively identify risks, and escalate appropriately.
· Perform other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Business, or related fields
Preferred: Engineering or Project Management background; familiarity with project lifecycle and multicultural environments.
Experience
Required:
· 3+ years in manufacturing/industrial environments
· Experience leading or coordinating teams
Preferred:
· 3 years in Project Management
· Experience managing fast‑changing, complex projects
· Strong logic, systems thinking, and HORENSO mindset
Skills
Required:
· Strong engineering and manufacturing knowledge
· Fluent English; Chinese is a plus
· Self-learning, problem solving, communication skills
· SAP experience
Preferred:
· Background in Cable/Optical/Connector products
· Experience with high‑volume customers/projects
