Your Job
As a Production Planner, you'll optimize production schedules to ensure efficient material and product flow. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance demand forecasts with production capacity, enhancing productivity and minimizing lead times. What You Will Do
- Preparing of production schedule and prioritized job-orders
- Ensure plan vs actual are achieved (SAP updated), daily tracking and monitoring
- Following up for supplier shipment with buyers to prevent material shortage
- Manage component & FG transfer activities between MXS and subcon, and IQC for urgent check
- Communication with Customer Services and allocation of stocks for MTO orders and also coordinate shipment/IFTA certificate application per the request, for billing target and delivery KPI to be achieved
- Application of permit for RMA return of defective components or customer’s FG back to subcon for rework
- Control of stock level; reduce surplus inventories and prevention of under-stocking, minimize slow & excess.
- Review capacity required based on the forecast demand and discuss with production for ramp up/ramp down plan
- Triggered and review from system set up that is relevant for planning
- Monitor for BOM and revision change per PCN and highlight inventory impact for disposition
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Management
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Manufacturing field
- Having experience with using SAP or other ERP system
- Having experience in production planning and output tracking
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environment
What Will Put You Ahead
- Having experience in production build matrix planning and execution, in high mix low volume business model.
- Familiar with Power BI
