The Materials & Planning Manager is responsible for leading all materials planning, production planning, inventory management, and material availability activities to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time delivery performance. This role serves as a critical link between Manufacturing, Global Sourcing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Finance.

What You Will Do
- Lead short-, medium- and long-term production planning and material planning activities to enable execution of the plant production plan and customer commitments.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, components and supplies required for uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Own MRP planning discipline, review planning parameters and drive inventory optimization while balancing customer demand, working capital and manufacturing constraints.
- Proactively identify material shortages, supplier constraints, demand changes, capacity risks and other threats to production execution; lead escalation and mitigation actions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop contingency plans and alternative supply scenarios to protect continuity of supply and support stable production ramp-up.
- Partner with Global Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Customer Service and Finance to align local business needs with global supply strategies.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), production transfers, new process ramp-ups and site expansion activities by ensuring planning readiness and material availability.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of planners and materials professionals; build a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and improve planning and materials KPIs, including material availability, production plan attainment, supplier OTD, inventory performance, past due orders, expedite costs.
- Champion planning process standardization, Lean Supply Chain practices and dashboard-driven performance management using advanced Excel and Power BI where applicable.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or related field.
- Proven experience in planning, materials or supply chain management.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- SAP ERP experience preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Power BI knowledge is highly desirable.
- Fluent English and Polish.
