Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Location: Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen (Daily Bus from Hanoi/ Hai Duong/ Bacninh)

We are now expanding with a new high tech facility in Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100,000 m². This site will manufacture advanced products including high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.
Primary Purpose
Support the Supervisor and department managers in controlling in‑process quality to ensure production meets quality, productivity, and output targets, while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure in‑process manufacturing quality standards and work instructions are correctly applied.
- Build inspection plans; conduct inspections and audits; evaluate product quality and issue abnormality reports.
- Train and coach subordinates on product specs, standards, machine setup, and inspection methods.
- Monitor in‑process quality performance; reduce defects, scrap, material usage, and inspection cost; work with related teams to resolve quality issues.
- Join quality meetings with internal teams and suppliers; support defect analysis, corrective actions, customer complaints, sorting, and PFMEA.
- Support trial runs, component transfers, and new product development; assist with supplier assessments.
- Conduct subordinate performance assessments and align with team quality and delivery goals.
- Ensure compliance with 5S/Kaizen, EHS, RBA, and company asset protection.
- Follow Molex TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, and EHS management systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
Required: College degree
Preferred: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience
Required: At least 4 years in a manufacturing environment
Skills & Abilities
- Strong engineering and quality knowledge
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to develop standards and instructions
- Training, coaching, and basic management/Kaizen skills
- Operation of quality inspection tools
- Knowledge of ISO, RoHS, and SAP
