Process Development Engineer (PrDE - MXHY2)
Location: Hanoi/ Hung Yen (Daily Bus from Hanoi Center/ HaiDuong/ HungYen)

This site will manufacture advanced products including high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.
Role Overview
The Development Process Engineer (DPE) coordinates cross‑functional engineering activities to successfully develop, launch, and transfer new products from early concept to mass production. This role partners closely with global development centers and local engineering teams to ensure product quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Technical Coordination
· Lead engineering activities for new product development
· Develop manufacturing process concept
· Coordinate factory layout planning, tooling/equipment procurement, and line setup.
· Oversee trials, documentation, line readiness, and MP ramp-up.
· Issue trial reports, track lessons learned, and drive improvements.
Global Communication
· Act as the main liaison with Molex DSS development centers (Japan, China, Korea, Singapore, US).
· Lead communication for trial requests and participate in on-site trial runs.
Workflow & System Development
· Build and maintain engineering workflows across internal and cross-functional teams.
· Support system setup for trial materials, samples, and product databases aligned with ISO/IATF.
Quality & Compliance
· Support quality, delivery, 6S/Kaizen, EHS, RBA, and asset protection requirements.
· Follow TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, and EH&S procedures.
Qualifications
Education
· Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering or related background
Experience
· Required: 3+ years in engineering
· Preferred: Manufacturing experience in NPI roles (product/process/production engineer, project lead)
Skills
· Ability to read technical drawings
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
· CAD proficiency (NX preferred)
· Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
· Proficient in MS Office
· Fluent in English
· Detail‑oriented, proactive, accountable, willing to learn
· Able to work under pressure and overtime when required
