Molex is seeking a Digital Systems Support Engineer to join our Optical Systems Business Unit (OSBU). In this role, you will support and stabilise manufacturing digital systems across Poland and Europe, ensuring production continuity and enabling next-generation network solutions. You will be a key part of a global operations team driving digital capability across our manufacturing sites.

What You Will Do
- Serve as the Europe Digital Operations support point, based in Poland, supporting local production operations and providing regional coverage for Europe
- Provide first-response support for production digital systems, including MES, shopfloor applications, traceability systems, reporting tools, and scanning/labeling systems
- Troubleshoot production system issues with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, quality, planning, IT, vendors)
- Provide on-site support for shopfloor digital issues, including device validation, connectivity checks, and workstation setup
- Collaborate with global Digital Operations (including Zhuhai team) to escalate and resolve issues in line with global standards
- Monitor system performance, data flows, and availability to ensure production continuity and data integrity
- Support system deployment, ramp-up, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live stabilisation across Poland and Europe
- Manage user access and basic administration in line with company policies
- Train and support users on system usage, troubleshooting, and standard work
- Document issues, root causes, and solutions to improve knowledge sharing and reduce recurring incidents
- Identify opportunities for system optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Experience supporting manufacturing systems in a production environment (e.g., MES, shopfloor applications, traceability systems)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and system-to-process impact
- Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills in live production environments
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners
- Understanding of system integration concepts (interfaces, APIs, data flow)
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, operating systems, and basic networking
- Strong communication skills in English and Polish
- Ability to work independently while aligning with global standards and processes
- Willingness to provide on-site support and respond to urgent production needs
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience supporting manufacturing system deployments, ramp-ups, or digital transformation projects
- Experience working in global or multi-site support environments
- Knowledge of system monitoring, incident management, and performance troubleshooting
- Basic scripting or automation skills (SQL, Python, PowerShell)
- Mandarin Chinese language skills are beneficial for collaboration with global teams
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to act as a regional systems focal point
