Koch Capabilities is seeking a Data Engineer to help build scalable data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across global businesses. In this role, you will design and deliver data pipelines, analytics products, and visualization solutions using modern cloud-based technologies.

Our Team
You will be part of Koch Analytics capability, a collaborative and global team working with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Analytics Consultants. The team focuses on building data products, enabling insights, and supporting business decisions through innovative, scalable solutions.
Working in an international environment, you will gain exposure to diverse business domains and cutting-edge analytics use cases.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using cloud technologies
- Build and enhance data products across the full lifecycle—from prototyping to production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions
- Develop and optimize data models, data warehouses, and analytical datasets
- Improve data quality, lineage, and reliability through governance and validation practices
- Identify opportunities to optimize existing solutions and deliver improved performance and scalability
- Support the creation of dashboards, KPIs, and visualization products for business stakeholders
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant professional experience in data engineering or analytics
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM)
- Strong SQL skills with experience designing and implementing data models or data warehouses
- Proficiency in Python and experience working with distributed processing frameworks (e.g., PySpark or similar)
- Experience with version control tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables (DLT), or Microsoft Fabric
- Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
- Exposure to GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and building data or analytics agents
- Experience working in cloud-based lakehouse architectures
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes environments
- Experience in the manufacturing or industrial domain
