Position: Production Assistant Manager
Location: Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen (Daily Bus from Hanoi, Hai Duong & Bac Ninh)
Reports to: Assembly Manager
Supervise: Production Supervisor

Since 2007, Molex Vietnam has operated its first factory in Thang Long I IP. We are now expanding with a new high tech facility in Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100,000 m². This site will manufacture advanced products including high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.
Position Overview
As a Production Assistant Manager, you will assist Assembly Manager to manage production operations across multiple production lines Maintain preventive maintenance activities, ISO implementation

- Accountable for operational performance at area level
Key Responsibilities
- Clearly understand self’s and section’s goals to make contribution to obtain quality, delivery, cost and safety goals.
- Instruct and supervise production in daily operation. Be responsible for production plan adjustment, lines production rotation, downtime, scraps, sub-material consumption and manpower controls in workshops.
- Deliver training to Production Supervisors and other subordinates for product specification and lines controls, kaizen, zero defects, QC tools.
- Supervise preventive maintenance team, measurement inspection team, material handling team and control sub-material consumption in workshops.
- Preventive maintenance instruction, Work instruction review and supervise. Workshops auditing.
- direct superior. To work close with Production control for production plan and result, to Quality for quality issues and manufacture engineering for line stop and downtime.
- Promote and implement innovation activities in workshop operation.
- Organize and supervise trial run, layout set-up for transfer product and new product development.
- Be responsible for problem analysis and countermeasures actions for finish goods return from Quality and QN related. Be sure the actions have been applied in workshop operation.
- Initiation of issuing abnormality reports to previous process or vendor related.
- Participate in delivery judgment meetings and its activities implementation.
- Be responsible for weekly, monthly, half yearly inventory count. Subordinates’ performance assessment.

- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Qualification
College degree and above, priority with bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related fields.
Experience
- At least 10 years experiences in a manufacturing industry, 3–5 years in a supervisory role.
- Preferred if the candidate has experience managing multiple production lines or shifts over 500 headcounts.

- Good knowledge at product’s functions
- Good knowledge at manufacturing processes and production control
- On the job Training, Coaching skills and Basic management & Kaizen
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, KYT, 5S & Abnormal Detection.
- Leadership, Evaluation skills and coaching capability for developing subordinates.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Supervision skill. Good understanding of SAP/MES systems
- Intermediate English communication skills
- Preferred if the candidate has experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
