Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next Senior Software Architect.
We are a global manufacturer of float glass and fabricated glass products for commercial and residential construction, with operations across North America, Europe, South America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

What You Will Do
- Design and implement product features to Claria, Guardian’s customer-facing AI platform
- Mentor software engineers and technical leads, helping grow architecture, design, and software engineering capabilities across the organization
- Guide the design and operation of AI-powered systems, including LLM integrations, orchestration frameworks, evaluation processes, and production monitoring
- Collaborate with cloud, security, and platform teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, compliance, and reliability
- Communicate technical strategy, architectural decisions, risks, and trade-offs to business stakeholders, product owners, and leadership in a clear and actionable manner
- Drive the adoption of AI-assisted software engineering practices, developer productivity tools, and modern SDLC standards across the organization
- Partner with development teams to establish automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence practices for both traditional and AI-enabled applications
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Expert in full-stack application architecture and development, including modern web frameworks, APIs, AWS cloud services, and distributed systems
- Deep expertise in AI/LLM application architecture and delivery, including orchestration patterns, tool integration, prompt engineering, RAG, evaluation frameworks, and production AI system operations
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, SOLID principles, testing strategies, and maintainable code practices
- Experience establishing and evolving AI-driven software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, developer platforms, and engineering standards
- Advanced knowledge of AWS cloud-native architectures, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practice
- Strong understanding of application security, identity and access management, secure-by-design principles, and threat modeling
- Proven ability to evaluate technology platforms, architectural patterns, and engineering tools, balancing business outcomes, security, maintainability, and operational requirements
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and technical leads while driving engineering excellence, architecture consistency, and long-term technology strategy
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or other related field; Master’s preferred
- Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, secure, and highly available customer-facing applications
- Strong project management and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Python and FastAPI
- Knowledge of TypeScript
- Knowledge of Azure AI services
