The Project Engineer serves as a key driver of strategic growth initiatives at the DSS Rokitki site, with primary responsibility for leading product, process, equipment, and know-how transfer projects. In addition, the role supports a broad portfolio of cross-functional projects focused on operational excellence, productivity improvement, quality enhancement, capacity expansion, and business growth. By ensuring successful project execution and delivery of targeted results, the Project Engineer plays a critical role in developing new manufacturing capabilities and strengthening the site's overall operational performance.
The position ensures that assigned projects are delivered on time, within scope and in line with committed business, operational, quality, safety and financial objectives. The Project Engineer coordinates resources, tracks project progress, identifies and escalates risks, and drives alignment between local teams, global Molex sites, and other external partners

What You Will Do
- Lead cross-functional projects related to product transfers, process transfers, manufacturing equipment implementation, new product introduction and operational capability expansion.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, deliverables, timelines, milestones, resource requirements, risk registers and mitigation actions.
- Coordinate activities across Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Procurement, EHS, Maintenance, Finance and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all project deliverables, committed dates, readiness milestones and target KPIs are clearly defined, monitored and achieved.
- Drive project governance, progress tracking, status reporting, issue resolution, escalation management and decision follow-up.
- Identify project risks, bottlenecks and resource constraints; proactively develop mitigation and contingency plans to protect timelines and business objectives.
- Support manufacturing transfers and ramp-ups from other Molex locations or external partners, including transfer of process knowledge, documentation, equipment, tooling and operational know-how.
- Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, process validation, qualification activities, capability studies and production readiness reviews.
- Ensure new or transferred manufacturing processes meet safety, quality, productivity, cost, capacity and operational requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication between local Rokitki teams and global stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, project expectations and deliverables.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate project management tools.
- Prepare management presentations, business updates, project status reports, KPI summaries and executive-level escalation materials.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve project execution, production readiness, process stability and operational performance.
- Ensure project execution is compliant with Molex standards, customer-specific requirements, quality management systems, EHS requirements and applicable regulatory expectations.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, Automation or a related technical discipline.
- Several years of proven experience in engineering, project management, manufacturing, NPI, process engineering, industrialization or operations.
- Proven experience supporting or leading cross-functional manufacturing, transfer, implementation or industrialization projects.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and deliverables simultaneously.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to production processes, equipment, quality systems and operational KPIs.
- Strong analytical, structured problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
- Good Polish communication skills required for effective collaboration with local manufacturing teams
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience managing product transfer, process transfer, equipment implementation or manufacturing expansion projects.
- Experience within electronics, fiber optics, cable assembly, automotive, high-volume or high-mix manufacturing environments.
- Experience working in an international, matrix organization and collaborating with global engineering, operations or project teams.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMI, PRINCE2, Agile etc.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering or operational excellence principles.
- Experience with SAP ERP, Power BI, MS Project, Smartsheet or other project portfolio / reporting tools.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate the work of warehouse operators, plan tasks, and supervise their execution.
- Execute daily warehouse operations (receiving, storage, and material dispatch).
- Ensure compliance of processes with company procedures and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with planning and production departments.
- Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.
- Report performance results and efficiency metrics to management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse systems (ERP/WMS).
- Good understanding of inventory management and logistics processes.
- English language proficiency required.
- Polish language proficiency required.
- Forklift license (UDT).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
