Molex Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate and drive New Product Introduction (NPI), product modification, and capacity expansion projects. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, meet business objectives, and support successful product launches. You will play a key role in project planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication throughout the product development lifecycle.
Our Team
You will be part of the DSS team, partnering closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other functional teams to support product development and business growth initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Lead and facilitate cross functional teams in the planning and execution of projects related to New Product Development, Modifications and capacity expansion.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively influence team members, management, and external contacts to drive positive project outcomes.
- Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for project kick off, project meetings, definition of project scope, objectives, expectations, and deliverables, including project timelines, sample build and budget.
- Initiate, build, and manage overall project schedule (include raw material planning, supply chain management, component and assembly process and machine planning), define critical path, monitor project activities, and hold functional team members accountable to meet agreed deadlines and communicate status report and timely escalate critical issues.
- Review project process and provide updated status reports & deck to team members and management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of project management or project coordination experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, SAP, Jira, or similar project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

- Background in connector, electronics, or related industries.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong presentation, project scheduling, and financial costing knowledge.
