Position Overview
As a Logistic Manager, you will support Plant Manager & Control the operation of Logistic department.
Key Responsibilities
- Define department strategy, key focus, KPIs as freight and duty rate, receive and delivery performance, day stock index, slow and excess, customs clearance and liquidation…and goals. Plan, organize, execute, review to achieve the goals and comply with Molex regulations, international and local laws.
- Responsible for logistic operation as warehouse management, export, logistic, inventory control, SAP/ITS system, administration, ISOs, EMS, TS16949, CSR, RBA to meet customer requirements, and standards.
- Define and review department policy, procedure, processes and instructions for logistic operation to use effectiveness of resources and improve efficiency.
- Forwarders assessment, selection and their performance improvement. Control Molex inventory/properties in suppliers, vendors and customer’s properties in Molex Vietnam.
- Assist Plant Manager to work with local authorities and ensure the operation comply with laws.
- Recruit, RR&E setting and review, training and coaching subordinates, people relation and performance assessment.
- Responsible for financial related to department operation.
- Clearly understand self’s and section’s goals to make contribution to obtain quality and delivery goals.
- Be accountable for the compliance to rules, procedures and requirement in terms of:
a. 7S & KAIZEN
b. Environmental Health Safety
c. RBA & Social Responsibility
d. Protection of company assets
- Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

University degree and above
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience of logistics management in manufacturing companies

- Proficient in creating and implementing procedures, processes, standards, and instructions.
- Procedures, processes, standards, instructions creation skills
- International and local laws.
- English (oral and written), Work planning, Problem-solving, Training, Coaching, Leadership and managerial skills
- Kaizen and innovation skills

- Understand and implement as requirements from ISOs, CSR, RBA
