Reporting to the General Manager, you will serve as a key member of the site leadership team and be responsible for developing people, strengthening customer relationships, driving profitable growth, and aligning commercial strategy with operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to influence business decisions, develop future commercial leaders, and help shape the continued success of one of Georgia-Pacific's premier corrugated packaging operations.
Location: Candidates should reside within or be willing to relocate within 50 miles of La Mirada, California. Relocation assistance is available within the United States.

The La Mirada facility is a leading integrated corrugated packaging operation serving customers across retail, food and beverage, consumer products, industrial manufacturing, e-commerce, and distribution. What You Will Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial team focused on customer success and profitable growth.
- Create and execute sales strategies that support long-term business objectives and market expansion.
- Strengthen relationships with key customers and build executive-level partnerships.
- Lead pricing strategies that balance value creation, profitability, and sustainable growth.
- Drive new business development and expand existing customer opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a healthy commercial pipeline and strategic account plans.
- Partner with Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and Reliability teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Use market intelligence and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Analyze commercial and financial performance to improve revenue, margin, and overall business results.
- Support annual planning, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic business initiatives.
- Champion continuous improvement and commercial excellence across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety expectations, and applicable regulations.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience leading commercial sales efforts in corrugated packaging, packaging, converting, printing, industrial manufacturing, or related B2B markets.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing sales or commercial teams.
- Experience managing pricing, forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance.
- Experience negotiating customer agreements and managing strategic customer relationships.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience leading a commercial organization within an integrated corrugated manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing business performance through P&L ownership or financial accountability.
- Experience leading organizational change or commercial transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing national or regional strategic accounts.
- Knowledge of value-based pricing methodologies.
- Understanding of corrugator and converting manufacturing processes.
- MBA or advanced business degree.
- Knowledge of Principle Based Management™ or similar market-based management philosophies.
For this role, we anticipate paying $170,000 - $200,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
