As our Industry Marketing Manager supporting the robotics, industrial, and energy sectors, you'll play a key role in driving some of Molex's most important growth opportunities. You’ll have the autonomy to guide your industry focus area—shaping content strategy, taking initiative, and driving impactful execution with an ownership mindset. Working closely with cross-functional teams across marketing, engineering, and product management, you'll craft and lead marketing content programs that deliver customer value, increase discoverability, and strengthen Molex's position as a trusted leader in the electronics industry.
What You Will Do
Strategy & Audience Focus
- Act as the voice of the robotics, industrial and energy industries for the Molex marketing team and drive the creation of content that influences design engineers at every stage of the buyer’s journey.
- Manage and execute a comprehensive content strategy that supports the design engineer audience, including collaborating with marketing, product, and engineering teams to develop and execute primary marketing content programs.
- Deeply understand design engineers in the robotics, industrial, and energy industries and collaborate with internal SMEs to distill complex technical information to craft clear, concise industry and application messaging as well as input briefs that enable the creation of high-quality marketing content.
Execution & Creative Workflow
- Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate market research, streamline brainstorming, and draft structured creative input briefs for external partners and creative resources.
- Manage the creation, reviews and approvals of robotics, industrial, and energy primary content, including industry and application web pages, blog posts, technical papers and sales collateral that reflect Molex’s understanding of core customer challenges, the capabilities required to solve them, and the specific Molex solutions that deliver value.
- Collaborate with creative services, writers, designers, and technical team members to deliver content and other strategic deliverables while balancing competing priorities and alignment expectations.
- Craft clear input briefs that deliver strategic focus for creative partners while driving efficient content execution.
Optimization & Program Management
- Develop content strategies that align with modern Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) best practices, ensuring technical content ranks effectively and powers AI-driven answer engines.
- Monitor the progress of marketing programs to ensure that key milestones are reached according to the project timeline, moving initiatives forward with a strong bias for action.
- Track, evaluate, and report on content performance and program effectiveness to continuously refine messaging, content output and improve ROI.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 3+ years experience developing, leading and managing industry focused marketing content programs, product marketing initiatives, or similar marketing programs from strategy through execution.
- Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, seamlessly navigating ambiguity and shifting stakeholder expectations while leaning into new and complex industry challenges.
- Demonstrates a pragmatic, action-oriented approach to craft compelling industry and application messaging that resonates with design engineers and other target personas.
What Will Put You Ahead
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise B2B marketing programs or campaigns within the electronics, connector, or electronic component distribution industries.
- Solid foundation in SEO and AEO principles, combining hands-on experience using AI models for workflow efficiency with a track record of structuring technical B2B content to maximize visibility across search engines and AI discovery platforms
For this role, we anticipate paying $115,000 - $150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
