Your Job
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will be a key member of the GSM Asia Pacific South HR team, partnering with business leaders and employees across Singapore and selected countries within the region. You will play a critical role in driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, and HR initiatives that support business growth and success. Working closely with regional HR peers and local stakeholders, you will help build a high-performing culture while delivering strategic and operational HR support
Our Team
You will be part of the GSM Asia Pacific South HR team, collaborating with HR professionals across Singapore, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The team supports Global Sales & Marketing organizations throughout the region and partners closely with the Singapore Plant HR team to drive key people initiatives and business outcomes
What You Will Do
Strategic Partnering
- Collaborate with the HR Leader to shape and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Support organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
- Use HR analytics to provide insights into decision-making and enhance organizational performance.
Culture and Engagement
- Advance the application of our PBM culture (Principle-Based Management) in all people’s initiatives.
- Assist in assessing organizational culture and employee engagement and help develop action plans.
Talent and Succession Management
- Support talent processes and initiatives, focusing on Contribution-Motivated employees.
- Monitor talent markets and continuously upgrade our talent positioning.
- Assist in developing and executing talent and succession plans with business leaders.
- Work with business leaders to build a strong talent pipeline and enhance talent development and retention.
Leadership / Supervisor Responsibilities
- Strengthening leadership capabilities and team effectiveness.
- Support supervisors with resources from corporate learning programs and platforms.
- With support of HR Leader, design and deliver workshops and programs for leadership development.
Compensation and Benefits
- Assist to develop and implement compensation strategies that is competitive in the market, in line with our compensation philosophy, and supports talent retention and motivation.
- Manage Wage and Incentive review processes
Employee Relations
- Manage performance issues, separations, and conflicts, collaborating with HR Compliance and Legal as needed.
HR Operations (as needed)
- Work with other specialized HR teams to support efficient HR operations in assigned scope, including onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS management.
- Enhance operational efficiency to focus on effective business partnering.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma with relevant working experience.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or similar HR role.
- Strong passion for leadership development and talent management.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels.
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated learning agility and growth mindset.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience supporting regional or multinational organizations.
- Experience in talent review, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage HR metrics and insights.
- Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, or commercial organizations.
- Familiarity with organizational design and change management initiatives.
