Guardian is looking for a Traffic Coordinator to join the team. You are the right candidate if you have Knowledge and experience of transportation regulations and logistics in Middle East.
Our Team
- AME Logistics comprises of Ocean Exports, Road Traffic, and Import Divisions as part of centralized model of Logistics workstreams.
- Road Traffic Team is responsible for Land Transport shipments in the region, across 3 factories in KSA, UAE and Egypt.
- The Traffic Coordinator position is a diverse role within the Road Traffic Team, responsible for assisting in the management and smooth flow of shipment by road in the 3 factories.
What You Will Do
- Handling Land Transport in AME (Africa Middle East) – KSA, UAE and Egypt
- Facilitate and develop/improve the process among concerned parties related to transporters services - customer services, finance, customers, shipping team and clearing agents for the long-term business.
- Review the available loads as per Appt. date and its glass availability with gross weight according to the regulations of each country/destination.
- Engage with transporters to ORG shipments 3-7 days plan, slot bookings in Transporeon s/w.
- Organize, follow-up and Share shipments plans and updates with all concerned stakeholders.
- Follow up with transporters regarding trucks placements and take actions in case of delays.OTIF monitoring and present corrective actions.
- Freight negotiation skills to achieve land transport costs at optimum.
- Working with carriers for adding in additional fleet.
- Proper coordination and engagement with shipping team for shipping related issues, EHS procedures etc. (Driver PPE, Side Grill trailers, Jumbo ladder fixing, Tarpaulin, additional covering on rainy days, Frames, Driver Harness training, RAP sessions etc.)
- Timely involvement of transit breakage complaints with drivers & transporters
- Back-up activities:
- Prepare COO for export by road and shares the list of completed documents with Shipping Team.
- Process Transporters’ invoices and submits POs, for payments, Follow-up with finance for payments.

- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Power BI report generation skills
